From 9 to 11 November, an introductory course in mycology will be held in Checa, where over 3 days and combining theoretical training and field trips, you can acquire basic knowledge about mycology for practical application, improving the experiences of collection, both for safety and for greater diversity.

The theory block will take place in the interpretation centre of the Alto Tajo (Museum of traditional livestock farming in the Alto Tajo) located in the municipality of Checa with address Plaza de Lorenzo Arrazola, nº1. The outings for collection and identification will take place in the vicinity of Checa and nearby villages of the Mancomunidad de la Sierra. The specific locations should be chosen close to the start of the course as it depends on the weather. Those attending the course will be responsible for travelling to the harvesting sites. If some participants do not have a vehicle, these can be shared, but it should be known in advance.

Necessary materials: For those attending the course it is advisable to bring a basket, knife and notebook (not compulsory). The Micorriza association will provide the materials for the practical part of the course: baskets, cleaning utensils and different guides for identification.
