This 15th century fortification is located just one kilometre from the Corduenteguarding the entrance to the La Hoz Ravine. In 1434, the King of Castile, Juan II, granted the necessary privilege for its construction to Juan Ruiz de Molina, who ordered the construction of the castle itself.

Despite its appearance, its characteristics define this fortress as a strongholdThe building consists of a manor house with high walls, flanked by corner towers with a beautifully decorated inner courtyard which takes us back to the late Middle Ages. Originally, it was accompanied by a outer walled enclosureToday it has disappeared, enclosing the interior of the fortress that can be seen today.

The Santiuste Castle is located in the heart of the between Aragon and Castile and has lived, with intensity, all the historical events of the Spanish medieval period. His characters are related to very important figures in the history of Spain.

The work of its owners in its conservation and restoration has not prevented one of its towers from being detached from the whole due to a large crack. Despite this, it is an example of revitalisation, since the beauty of this castle is used for group activities, company dinners, events and celebrations.
