Peña del Ceñajo

Right on the well-known Peña Horadada, or Torre de la Gitana, we find this limestone monolith called the Peña del Ceñajo. Its exact location is on the opposite bank of the river in the vicinity of the fountain of the tuffas.

These rocks are only accessible to climbers, and in this case only to experienced climbers, as we are talking about a very difficult route.

The name of the route is a curiosity and comes from a very long nail that was put into the rock and trapped, emulating the sword of this fantasy story. It is said that if someone flies, and manages to pull it out, he will be named king of the route.
