Location: Huertahernando

HuertahernandoIt is located to the northwest of the Alto Tajo Natural Park and is situated on a high hill from where it enjoys an incalculable natural and scenic environment.
The village is surrounded by mountains populated by holm oaks, pines, junipers, boxwoods and junipers. The plantations in the orchards are for their own use; the locals call them "huertas". strikes if they are on the river bank.
The Tagus River flows through the south, marking the boundary with Huertapelayo.
Its assets include the parish church of La Purísima Concepciónthe source public watering trough built by Charles III to supply the residents and domestic animals, and the hermitage of San Roquelocated at the entrance to the village, which is in ruins and in an advanced process of deterioration.
