Historians of the Upper Tagus 2022

Once again this year, and following the success of the conference held in June 2021 at Peralvechewill take place on II Meeting of Historians of the Upper Tagus. This time, the place chosen for the presentation of the different papers related to the history and heritage of the towns that make up this valuable territory, will be Peñalén.

Last year's event was a success, with as many as 15 studies of different themes, all of them with the aim of highlighting the variety of elements that make up the tradition and the past of a common territory. Examples of these works presented are the archaeometric study of Celtiberian pottery in the region of Molina de Aragón by Álvaro Sánchez, the history of the glass-blowing industry in the village of El Recuenco by Alba Costero, and the paper on the forests of Armallones by Antonia Ibáñez.

This year, the associations and organisations organising the event hope that last year's success will be repeated, given that was generally well received, The event was well attended by the public, which made it necessary to look for larger facilities and a good number of speakers, many of whom have already expressed their wish to participate and present new works in future events.
