The Tagus Suspension Bridge Recreational Area is a favourite with visitors. It can be accessed from the Poveda bridge about 5 km along the road. It is also possible to access from Peralejos by the road that leads to the Taravilla Lagoon  It is located near the suspension bridge, from where you can enjoy views of the valley through which the Tagus River flows and its crystal-clear waters.

This is one of the most popular bathing areas in the Upper Tagus Natural Park due to the large amount of space available for bathing and the beauty of the surroundings. There are benches and tables where you can eat just before you get there.

It is also a mandatory step for people who wish to do the Taravilla lake and Poveda waterfall route.

The easiest way to get there is perhaps from the bridge at Poveda, the track is comfortable and when you reach the Casas del Salto There is a good area where we can park our vehicle. From here we will have to continue walking along a comfortable and shady path that takes us right to the footbridge next to where we find the area.

This is one of those places where in summer it is practically impossible to find a spot, we are crowds of people who come to cool off in this beautiful place, so we ask for the greatest respect both for nature in general and for the equipment available.
