The refuge of the Fuente de las Tobas, as its name indicates, is located on the Fuente de las Tobas Recreation Area in Peñalén.

It is a good place to stop if you are doing the GR-113 or the GR-10. Due to its location at the bottom of the canyon and surrounded by trees, it does not receive sun practically all day long, so it is necessary to take this into account in case of a night in winter.
