El Vado Recreational Area

This is one of the recreational areas recognised by the Upper Tagus Natural Park. Here, under the shadow of an extensive poplar grove, there are several tables to sit down and, if possible, get your strength back or have a snack. We must remember, however, that there is no rubbish collection service in the park, so we need your help to keep this natural environment clean and in good condition.

In short, it is a nice and quiet placewith picnic area, very close to the camping site of PeralejosThe ideal place to enjoy an afternoon of bathing in the clean and crystalline waters of the Tagus River.

<< How to get there?

The access road to the recreational area El Vado makes you reconsider accessing by car (although it is possible). The road is very narrow and there is only room for one car. If you meet another car in front of you, one of you will have to back up until you find somewhere to pull over, and there are not many such places.

It is not signposted from the road but with a bit of attention it will not be difficult to find it as it is between the camping site of Peralejos and the Martinete BridgeOn a road where we see a large building and nearby a red sign for the GR-113.
