Location: Alcoroches

Alcoroches located in the eastern part of the Alto Tajo natural park, above 1400 metres, at the foot of a hill which the locals call Moorish Castle.
It is a charming village with an abundance of traditional milling and mountain dwellings. Its main street of great beauty stands out.
There are abundant springs and fountains. The Gandul stream crosses the municipality, with a variable flow, more important in summer. The water collected in the Dehesa flows into this stream and empties into the Tagus.
Behind the church, next to the road towards Alustante, there is a cave where the rainwater and streams of the municipality are collected through a deep sinkhole through which, by means of underground channels, they reach the Burbullón at Castilnuevo where they come to the surface.
