Location: Riba de Saelices

Riba de Saelices is located in the Sierra del DucadoIt is the border between the high plateaus of the Alta Alcarria, in the Central Plateau, and those of the Señorío de Molina de Aragón, in the Iberian System. The municipality is made up of three localities: Riba de Saelices, La Loma y Ribarredonda. It sits on a variable terrain in which a series of streams flow, and the Linares River which crosses the whole of the town from north to south.
Of its natural heritage, the surrounding area is outstanding, especially the landscapes of the valley of the river Linares, of enormous beauty due to its contrasts of rocky masses and vegetation. Following the river upstream, there are also the unique and attractive landscapes of the so-called Valley of Miracleswhere curious monolithic rock formations can be observed, and in the vicinity of which is located the Cave of the CasaresThe cave paintings and engravings are one of the fundamental landmarks of Palaeolithic art on the Iberian Peninsula.
